Saturday 2nd: Digging at the bottom of Mortons Pot with Mad Phil, Ems, Rich Bayfield and Andy Kuszyk. Phil and co have spent a great deal of time taking an electric cable down to the botton in order to pump the sump out behind a dam. This cable is also used to power several electical lights and a kettle.

I set up the kitchen area whilst the pump started its work and the others patched up the dam. Then we all took turns digging, filling sacks with mud and helping operate the pump.

Sunday 3rd: After the CDG AGM Greg ans I went for a swim in Wookey. It had rained quite a bit and it was hard work reaching chamber 20 where we got out for a quick wander.
