3rd - 4th March: Yorkshire
Saturday - Spectacle Pot with Charlotte, Tom Foord and Matt Traver. This was tight in places, fairly wet and overall deserving to be in 'not for the faint hearted'. Not our original choice for the day (some other gits were down Brown Hill) but still a trip well worth doing. I look forward to doing the Spectacle-Vesper Exchange.

Sunday - Diving in Joint Hole with Rich Hudson - We went a bit further than Greg and I last time, (two more airbells, up into the shallow route). Good dive, poor vis and it rained whilst we got changed!

10th - 11th March: Daren Cilau
I soloed in late on Friday and made it to camp in very good time. When I got there I heard the full story of how the camp had been found trashed whilst drinking my first cocktail of the weekend. A good weekend at HRC. Reasonable progress made with the dig before it became unstable and needed shoring up. Whilst this was done the sand digging crew hit the other dig spot and got buried alive (well not quite but almost).

15th - 18th March: O/S show
Four manic days at the National Outdoor show with the BCA stand.... arghh I want to go caving!!

24th - 25th BCA AGM and Ink sump

I did my political duty on Saturday before heading up to the TSG. Had a few beers with Adam Smith and Dave Morris before hitting the hay. On Sunday Jim Lister, John Taylor, Jules Barrett, Adam Smith and myself headed into Peak Cavern. We went through Buxton water sump and stomped up the stream way to ink sump. Jules turned hear (he was never planning on coming through ink) whilst Adam's ears let him down. A nice dive through Ink with crystal clear visibility brought us to Doom’s retreat. Jim has done an amazing amount of work here with scaffold, ladders and even a tent!! John Taylor and I started putting a bit of Scaffold into the choke whilst Jim finished off a couple of bits on the platform.
