Simon Cornhill caving with bag and cylinder....With the knowledge we have acquired we plan to return in 2010 for another trip to continue exploration. Our mapping and surveying shows that the “Round Window” branch of the cave is heading for one of the caves explored from high on the Ario Plateau, called “Ridge Cave” which is over 500m higher than the current limit of exploration. This means we can expect a huge quantity of aid climbing to reach the end.
