Over Easter Artur and I explored several sites in Fermanagh. I dived the terminal sump in Shannon - 55m in - steadily down to -5m, low bedding type passage to begin with which was silty but with flow - felt wide and possibly several ways forward here. Then 'larger' section with clean washed rock but complicated and several different arches / bits of rock sticking up etc.. Then back to low passage again, very silty, possibly low or no flow and absolutely zero vis for the last 10m. So 'possibly' I missed the main way on from the 'larger' section but vis was always less than 30cm and sump confusing. Total in water time 27mins. Dived in on thirds on 2 x 4s and out using 50bar in a 4. We also connected Monastir Cliff cave to Upper Cradle - see the full report by Artur here We also dived in Pollnagossan - check the full report out here.
